About Katie Tillman
My Client-First Philosophy
Real estate is my 2nd (and some would say 3rd) career. I spent 23-plus years in the restaurant and catering business, and a similar amount of years as a part-time nurse. Several years ago, I decided now would be a good time to put all of my previous years of networking to work. I had friends in the real estate industry, and they all encouraged me to get licensed and begin selling. I did, and I love it.
I have a little different philosophy than a lot of other agents. I see my role the same as it has been for the last 20-plus years, when I was serving others with homemade food and trusted healthcare. Real estate is a service industry, too. I see my role as your agent very clearly. It is my job to listen to you, advise you as necessary, work with you to formulate a plan for your property, and do everything within my power to execute that plan and accomplish the ultimate goal: closing. I believe it is only a good deal if it is a good deal for everyone.
I have been doing business in the Anderson area for over 30 years and have a reputation for being direct while maintaining a high level of integrity. I approach the real estate industry the same way as my other careers: when it is time to make a decision, I always ask myself, “Is this in the best interest of the client?” If the answer is not yes, then it's time to find a new solution.
When you decide that you'd like to buy or sell a home in the Townville, Anderson, Hartwell, Anderson County, Pickens County, or Oconee County areas, please contact me. Thanks for taking the time to get to know me a little. I look forward to getting to know you.
